Prices are in rand per month. Sendbaze is not yet VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged and the listed price is what you pay. Allowances reset on your billing day; GET /v1/usage shows the current period, what is used and what is left. The Free plan’s 50 SMS are a once-off after card verification; when they are used, further SMS need a wallet top-up or a paid plan. Annual billing gives two months free. Transactional and marketing SMS cost the same per segment. Included SMS apply to South African numbers; other countries are charged from your wallet at that country’s rate.

Entitlements by plan

On every plan, an organisation without a verified domain can send 100 live emails in total from onboarding@sendbaze.com to its own addresses; see send before your domain is verified. Message bodies are redacted after 30 days on every plan. The pricing page has add-ons and SMS packs.

Pay as you go and the wallet

  • Minimum top-up R100 by card or EFT. Top-ups of R1,000 or more earn 5% bonus rand, R5,000 or more 10%.
  • A balance is valid for 12 months from your last top-up. SMS packs are valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Optional auto top-up refills the wallet when it falls below a threshold you set.
  • On a plan, the same wallet pays overage before your saved card is charged.

When an allowance is used up

Sends are covered in this order: included plan allowance, then wallet balance, then postpaid overage at your plan’s rate (plans with a saved card, within your spend cap). Otherwise the send is rejected before anything is queued, so nothing is lost silently: You get an email and a dashboard banner at 50%, 80% and 100% of any allowance, and the customer webhook events usage.threshold, credits.low, billing.payment_failed and plan.limit_reached. Test keys never count against an allowance or the wallet.

Limits that apply to every plan

Roles

Team members have one of five roles. Owners can do everything; admins everything except deleting the organisation; developers send, read logs and manage domains, keys and webhooks; analysts read logs and suppressions; billing sees and manages billing only.
